Become a part of our biggest networking and fundraising event in 2026 and be part of something special.

mecwacare’s 2025 Charity Golf Day raised more than $110,000.

Proceeds from our two previous Golf Day events have directly supported the expansion of our dementia care capabilities across our aged-care portfolio. Thanks to the generosity of our participants, sponsors and partners, we have been able to invest in specialised training for our staff and strengthen programs that improve quality of life for residents living with cognitive impairment.

This year, your ongoing support ensures we will continue delivering compassionate, person-centred care to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. We will also continue to develop further care programs helping us meet the growing demand for high-quality dementia services across Victoria.

Our Annual Charity Golf Day has grown in support each year.

This is a great day of networking, socialising and of course – Golf, played on one of Melbourne’s premier courses. Since 2002, this flagship event has raised over $900,000 which has enabled mecwacare residents and clients to benefit from innovative care solutions that improve quality of life and promote independence.

We are excited to announce the planning for our 2026 Charity Golf Day is in full swing!

Now in its 25th year, the annual mecwacare Charity Golf Day is our signature networking event.

This event is an opportunity for businesses and the community to show their support for the life changing services mecwacare provides.

Following our successful event last year, we are returning to Heritage Golf and Country Club for 18 holes of golf, followed by lunch at the Yarra Valley Lodge. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available.

Event details

Monday 2nd March 2026, Heritage Golf and Country Club, 21 Heritage Ave Chirnside Park VIC 3116

7:00am: Team and player registration, plus light Breakfast

7:45am: Player address

8:00am: Shotgun start – Ambrose four person teams, 18 holes
Prizes throughout the course including nearest the pin, longest, drive and hole-in-one

12:30pm: Putting competition for non-golfers
Two course lunch following golf game.
Prize presentations, Live auction and raffle.

3:00pm Event concludes

Our fundraising target this year is $115,000.
