Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)

mecwacare is a not-for-profit provider of the federal government’s Commonwealth Home Support Programme. This program provides entry-level home care and support for people aged 65 years and over (or 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people), who need some help to live independently at home.

Terms and Conditions

1.    Eligibility 

To qualify for the $250 incentive offer, the individual must be:
a) An existing mecwacare client on a Commonwealth Home Support Program who moves to a mecwacare Home Care Package.
b) An eligible Home Care Package recipient as determined by government guidelines.
c) Residing in the state of Victoria, Australia.

2.    Offer Period 

  • This incentive is valid for clients who transition to a mecwacare Home Care Package on or before 30 June 2025.

3.    Reward Conditions 

  • The $250 incentive will be provided in the form of a Coles Myer voucher.
  • Clients must remain an active mecwacare Home Care Package recipient and receive services for a minimum of three consecutive months from the date their package commences.
  • The voucher will be issued only after this three-month period is completed and all eligibility criteria have been verified.

4.    Voucher Issuance 

  • The $250 voucher will be sent directly to the eligible client after the three-month period via mail or email, based on the client’s preference.
  • mecwacare will not be responsible for lost or delayed vouchers once dispatched.

5.    General Conditions 

  • This offer is non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash, and cannot be combined with other mecwacare promotional offers.
  • mecwacare reserves the right to verify the eligibility of participants and may withhold or cancel the incentive in cases of non-compliance with these terms.
  • mecwacare reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this offer at any time without prior notice.
