Accreditation
Ballan Medical clinic is accredited with the National General Practice Accreditation (NGPA) Scheme.
The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission), in collaboration with the RACGP have developed the National General Practice Accreditation (NGPA) Scheme. The Scheme aims to:
- Provide greater choice for general practices seeking accreditation
- Improve support programs for implementation of accreditation, and
- Provide practices with access to national data on accreditation performance to enable bench-marking.
